
An award-winning broadcaster and writer, Toni Reavis received the 2022 George Hirsch Journalism Award in New York City November 4, 2002 for excellence in the field of athletics and marathon running. He has broadcast major events from around the world for over four decades, while writing for such publications as Runner’s World, the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Competitor, Meter, and BlackBook magazines. He has also been a columnist for the Boston Herald, Running Times, and New England Runner. In 2009, Running USA inducted him into its Hall of Champions.
A St. Louis native, then long-time Boston resident, Mr. Reavis currently lives in San Diego, California with his wife, Toya, where he continues to write his tonireavis.com blog, Wandering in a Running World. He also serves on the board of directors of the Entoto Foundation, a 501C3 charity that brings healthcare to Ethiopia.
